The Andes, step by step
Machu Picchu is worth every step — and we take the steps seriously. Our six-day route acclimatises properly in Cusco, crosses the Sacred Valley's markets and terraces, then enters the citadel through the Sun Gate at sunrise, the way the Incas arrived.
Your Quechua guide grew up in the valley, sets a humane pace on the climbs, and explains the stonework, the astronomy and the mountain spirits with equal care.
